The Telfer Coffee Table takes its design cues from the elegance of the Georgian and Regency periods, reinterpreted for the contemporary interior.

Its defining feature is the sweeping serpentine curve that runs along both the front and back edges of the top, and is echoed in the shaped front and back aprons beneath. This flowing line — at once restless and composed — gives the Telfer a sculptural quality that sets it apart from the clean-lined minimalism of most modern coffee table design.

Four elegantly tapered legs complete the silhouette, their gentle taper drawing the eye downward and lending the table a lightness that belies its generous proportions.

Set into the front apron, a small solid brass maker's plate carries the Glencairn Furniture name — a quiet but considered detail that speaks to the provenance and permanence of the piece.

Handcrafted in Edinburgh from the finest solid mahogany, each Telfer Coffee Table is individually made and finished by hand. The rich, warm grain of the mahogany deepens with age, ensuring that every piece becomes more beautiful over time.

The Telfer is also available in a range of other premium hardwoods — including American black walnut, European oak and cherry — for those who wish to complement a different interior palette.
